Addicted to Updates – When Information Becomes a Habit

My name is Steve and it’s been an hour since I last checked Twitter. Sixty minutes is a long time on the internet, even on a Sunday so who knows what I’m missing. Simon Pegg might have uploaded another hilarious picture of him and his comedy pals on their Paul promo tour. Smashing magazine may have linked to a JQuery plugin that cleans your bathroom for you. Or closer to home, maybe one of my many friends/fans has declared how … Continue reading

You say Tomatoes, I say F**k you

Tomatoes are the absolute spawn of the devil. Eating one is like being tricked into ingesting a space beast that’s trying to impregnate you with it’s intergalactic spawn; all that acidic, fleshy pulp delivering a bitter seedy payload. I mean, come on, they are from the same plant family as nightshade and pretty much every part of the plant is toxic. And yet, they are in everything. The freaky non-fruit can often be found sat as bold as brass in … Continue reading

Stream Dreamin’ – Spotify Premium

Sound of da Police

I’m stood in my back garden. A riot van and an unmarked car at the top of the drive. Five burly police officers are charging through my flat, two more are trying to find a way in to the house upstairs. An alarm is screaming bloody murder while the neighbours stand gorping at their windows, cradling their kids who look petrified. I feel petrified. Continue reading
